Here are some pictures of our first Pre-K Sensory Friendly Class. We have been meeting on Friday afternoons at 1:30 PM at the Culpeper County Library until our new space in completed in September 2023.
Our instructor Lauren Taeger is a board-certified music therapist and licensed VA music educator, with a Master’s in General Education
She completed a music therapy internship in a public-school special education setting and later worked as a K-5 general music teacher and in various part-time teaching positions. Having mostly spent the past few years at home with young children, Lauren is excited to get back to what she loves (music!) and use her skillset to provide engaging music experiences for young students with a variety of abilities.
This program is being provided free of cost to qualifying families though the generous donations to Jewell Tone’s Center for the Arts.
